Not going to make the meeting?

If you are going to be absent from a BNI meeting (AND will not have a substitute), then please follow these steps:

STEP 1 (not optional): Email ‘absence@bnioceana.com‘ indicating that you will not make the meeting.
Please include the meeting date that you are unable to attend and also a very brief description of the reason you are unable to attend. This will notify the membership committee and the visitor host of your absence.

STEP 2 (optional): Please call Lisa on 0450 957 025 to notify him that you will not be able to attend. 

Things to not do:

DO NOT have an expectation that others to find you a substitute, particularly last moment.

DO NOT contact anyone else, including the leadership team, as a alternative to using the above official method, for the purpose of notifying them of your absence. You can obviously give people a heads up that you wont be there, however this will not be considered an official notification of your absence.
